This model display can be used for most 1:48th scale models of US and Allied WWII aircrafr. Perforated Steel Plate was developed in the USA to provide a hard, quick and easily assembled runway for use near to the front lines. It was employed in all theatres including North Africa, Italy, France and in the campaigns in the Pacific. It was also used in Russia where it was supplied under the Lend-Lease program. It was produced in large numbers during the war that many countries used it after the war, in many different conflicts and even in peacetime. It has been seen in Korea, Algeria and Indochina as well as many other war zones. It was made of steel, so it soon rusted, even with continual use.

It should be painted to represent either of these finishes. Made by Eduard at the end of the 90s, catalogue number 8801.
It comes with its original packing.

General Mail Order Policy
Every care is put in correctly checking and packing every single item. Should anything get wrong, buyer is requested to contact us within 14 days after delivery and we will find a way out (substitution, refund or credit). Faulty items must be sent back within 30 days after delivery date with a trackable system.
If an item has arrived damaged or incomplete, it may be that we can rectify it for you without the need for a return, so please contact us first and we will advise. For example, if it is a kit with missing parts we will obtain these from the manufacturer ASAP on your behalf. Buyer pays shipping return costs. For unwanted items, original shipping costs are not refunded.
